| Her daughter Nina wrote:..Sunday night (February 13, 2011) at approximately 8:00 pm Mami
passed away very quietly (born March 17, 1933). She was not in any pain and
died peacefully. As you know she has been slowly declining for the past three
years. She took a sharp turn for the worse on Friday when she stopped drinking (and eating). Unfortunately none of us could be with her as it all
happened very fast, but her favourite nurse was with her when she died and it
was all very quiet and peaceful. We are all relieved that Mami and Papi are
